ABOUT US
WHO WE ARE
Venangel Capital is an angel investment firm focusing on investing in innovative early-stage companies and high growth tech startups with the potential of disrupting sector verticals and generating high investment returns. A typical stage of financing the firm is interested in is seed / pre-seed, however, co-financing in series' rounds is also considered.

An ideal candidate for our investment would be an innovative company with an existing product in a finished form, achieving product-market fit with a minimum of 1 - 2x revenue growth per year. A special attention is paid to the companies with a product / service which try to solve a large-scale problem and have a potential to reach long-term sustainability and large percent of the population.
We seek ventures with strong unit economics alongside with a large portion of recurring revenue depending on the vertical, and with the potential of generating at least 5 - 10x return upon the successful exit. The business should show signs of traction and operate in large TAM (>$1bn) / SOM (>$100m) or with the growth potential of creating it.

The main type of investments we do is financing against equity. Other forms such as debt instruments in the form of convertible notes with an attractive pricing and structured terms may be considered for investing in as well. In the UK, potential equity investments should qualify for EIS or SEIS. Our supplemental activities include investing in other alternative asset classes such as digital assets and advisory services.

We invest on case by case basis after performing thorough due diligence and seek to add value beyond a typical funding sense. The founder and investor Martin Hudak is an experienced professional coming from a corporate and investment banking industry bringing his experience and skills in strategic financing, corporate finance advisory and software / technology sector from across Europe and overseas.
